Expert Data Cabling is comitted to continually developing employees skills for leadership and management roles and has experienced project managers and team leaders that are able to manage projects of any size. EDC Project Managers can assist with designing and implementing new systems in all types of environment.
All projects are controlled via computerised Project Management systems which ensures total control of all projects is maintained at all times.
EDC may provide some or all of the following expertise throughout our client's important projects:
- Design Check: EDC have expert SCS design staff who may offer value to our clients by double-checking their design for areas of improvement
- Return Brief: To assure that all parties can understand and agree upon the deliverables of the project
- Project Scheduling: EDC use Microsoft Project to define the important installation tasks, milestones and completion dates. EDC are capable of building a Project Schedule for our clients or work with programs provided to us by others.
- Project Initialisation: EDC can offer detailed agenda for an initial Project Meeting with all Project VIPs to assure that our staff are aligned with the Client's on site requirements.
- OHSW&E Inductions: EDC understand the importance of OHSW&E and will comply fully to all Client & Site requirements. We tailor our Work Method Statements for the unique installation aspects of the project. Our continuing development of our own OHSW&E Policy & Procedures is a major factor in the delivery of our service and business objectives.
- Site Meetings: EDC can chair or be party to all Site Meetings on a regular basis to assure our management and site staff are updated about important project business, scope changes, resourcing, time frames and other issues.
- Practical Completion: EDC always document any issues, defects or incomplete items that may be present at the Practical Completion Stage and commit to rectify all issues as high priority to meet with our client's expectations and satisfaction.
- Project Documentation: EDC normally provide a full set of Project Installation documentation that may include:
- Site Plans highlighting important aspects
- Floor Plans highlighting important aspects
- Cabling Schematics
- Cabinet Termination Schematics
- Cable Test Reports
- Tradesman Compliance Certificates
- Bill of Materials of important products installed
- Technical Data Sheets
- Manufacturer Warranty & Certification
